Thursday, Jun. 05, 2003 - 12:08 a.m. Grass Dwellers The people living in the grass, Weren't very tall, or strong Their arms were merely half an inch, And their legs, too, weren't that long. --- But still they fended for themselves, No insects would go near them, And when one held a sword of leaf, Even the ants would fear them! --- The garden now had gone insane, Things couldn't be much lower, Until the grassfolk met their match, The electrical lawnmower. --- The blade span round and cut their heads, The grass was painted shades of reds, Which blended nicely with the green, And gave the garden quite a sheen, A shiny wetness on the ground, Which prettied things up all around. --- The tiny arms and legs were lost, Among the grassy bladees, While the tiny vicious garden folk, All went to stay in Hades. |
